AIM International Aid, based in Vancouver, BC
Founded in 2005, A.I.M.'s objectives are to respond to crisis by providing the necessary resources to the survivors in order to improve and sustain their quality of life. A.I.M. also provides opportunities to individuals with the desire to reach out to those in need without discriminations.
Currently A.I.M is assisting two nutrition centers in the Villages of Nediyamadu, and Unnithchai in Batticaloa on the East coast of Sri Lanka. A.I.M. was founded by Registered Nutritionist and yoga instructor, Eden MacDonald. One of her goals in life is to create opportunities for Canadians to give back to the global community. AIMAIS embodies Eden’s passion for humanitarian work and projects that improve people’s lives. She has combined her interest in wellness and yoga with this and other pursuits.
